Welcome to the web page for Mrs. Kline's 4C class.  On this page is a overview of what is covered during the fourth grade year.  On the other pages you will find important information about specific topics.  All of the pages will stay the same except for the newsletter which will be updated weekly.

SOCIAL STUDIES

We will be studying the five regions of the United States for the first half of the year.  During the second half of the year we will be learning about our state.

SCIENCE

The following topics will be covered during the year:

• Animals
  

MATH

In math we will be learning about division, multiplication, measurement, fractions, geometry, graphing, and other topics.

RELIGION

The three main topics that will be covered is this class are the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, and Second Step.

LANGUAGE ARTS

This subject covers spelling, reading, vocabulary, and English.  In reading we will be using chapter books instead of the reading series.  Spelling will have weekly tests which are given the last day of the week.  English will be covering a variety of topics including parts of speech and letter writing.
