August 2010 Dear Grade 1B Families: Here is some information about our class.
Students in first grade need a back pack with no wheels and a lunch bag/box marked with your child’s name and class. All other school supplies will be provided on the first day of school.
Back-to-School Night for Kindergarten and First Grade is Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 6:30 pm.
The First Day of School is Monday, August 30, 2010.
Math Facts - Students should be able to add numbers to 18, with fluent mastery of sums of numbers to 10, by the end of first grade. They should also be able to subtract with the top number not to exceed 18. Practice addition and subtraction facts with your child to maintain and build these skills.
