MS Social Studies

Mr. Scheib joined Saint Theresa School in the 2022-23 school year. He has been teaching for over 25 years and has worked in a variety of roles and school systems over the years. He lives in the area with his wife Aly and son, Drew, who is in high school. They have two tuxedo cats named Huck and Finn. The Scheib Family enjoys cheering on the AHL Hershey Bears in the season seats.

Students will be covering World Geography in 6th grade and learn about lands across the globe and here in the United States. In 7th and 8th grade, students will learn United States History - focusing on discovery through the Civil War reconstruction in 7th and from westward expansion to the 21st century in 8th grade. Our focus is always on the big ideas and learning how to learn and think. Students will be tasked to read, write, think, and speak throughout the course. In addition, students will be asked to take on more responsibility and become more independent learners.
