Admissions
Thank you for you interest in Saint Theresa School. We are a Christ Centered Academic Elementary and Middle School located on the West Shore in Central PA. We focus on prayer, religious curriculum and sacraments attending mass weekly at our parish. Students complete service projects, volunteering, food/clothing drives and do many things throughout the year in consideration of others. St Theresa School has a theme each year that is ingrained throughout the school, classroom, events, projects and the entire school community.
Saint Theresa School does not discriminate based on race, sex, creed, color, or national origin. The
school does not discriminate based on disability, if with reasonable accommodations; the student can
meet the academic and behavioral requirements of the school. Please refer to Catholic School Parent’s Memorandum of Understanding (Appendix A). The cut-off date for admittance into school is October 1. A child must be 3, 4, or 5 by that date in order to be enrolled into the Preschool 3, Preschool 4, or kindergarten program. All preschool & kindergarten students must be potty trained prior to the start of the school year. No pull-ups or training pants are permitted. Students in grades 7 and 8 will need to take Math and ELA placement tests for academic placement. Students who have just moved into the area or who are transferring from a Catholic School and intend to enroll at Trinity for high school are given priority admission into the 6th, 7th or 8th grades.
Once a child is accepted, consideration for continued admissions may be determined by the following:
1) Willful, delinquent tuition.
2) Lack of cooperation on the part of both parent and student.
3) Record of unacceptable student behavior during the school year.
