Welcome to the school year 2016- 2017.  At STS our students have a Christ-Centered Educational Experience.  This year’s theme is M.U.S.I.C.Making Us Strong In Christ!   From starting our day with the daily reading and prayer over announcements to actual religion class to teachers embedding our beliefs throughout all curriculum and finally ending the day with the Act of Contrition we will embrace this theme daily.

We continue to embrace technology in preparing students for the 21st Century.  In addition to the current 25 student units in our computer lab, computers and IPads for all teachers with Smart Boards in every class, 25 laptops and two sets of 25 I-pads on carts, we also continue to embrace our  LabLearner classroom

LabLearner is a 100% research-based, hands-on system of pre-kindergarten through eighth grade science education that includes a fully equipped in-school laboratory, complete curriculum including all assessments, on-line parent and teacher resources, and teacher professional development.  What is so unique about LabLearner is it teaches science by doing science.

Over the past year, we had students represent STS in all academic areas as high as state-wide competition excelling against both public and nonpublic schools. The contribution of our students and the school to various charities and actual works of charity have been numerous.  Additionally, we have dedicated staff and teachers who have a focus on professional development to continue to be the best that they can be in their instructional practices within the classroom.  We have a number of teachers as well, who are involved in various committees at the Diocesan level and make positive contributions there.
