Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Marianne Moran

I was blessed with the gift of music since the age of 5 when I began singing and playing the piano. I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in music education. Following my graduation, I taught vocal music for one year at Lebanon Middle School.  I also held the position of Vocal Music Instructor for one year at New Oxford High School before becoming an employee of Spring Grove Area School District where I taught general music to students in all three elementary buildings for nearly 6 years. I am the mother of two daughters, Gabrielle and Natalie, whom I love with all my heart. I consider myself at home and find my greatest joy singing to the Lord at Trinity Lutheran Church in Camp Hill where I serve as a soloist and member of the choir. I have studied voice with Mrs. Susan Beckley and enjoy performing in the community as a member of The Harrisburg Singers. I spend much of my free time with my incredible support system of family and friends.

I firmly believe that music is a gift from God that is meant to be shared with others. Therefore, I am delighted to be sharing my love of music with students once again. My goal at St. Theresa School is to challenge my students to explore the talents with which they have been blessed and to praise the Lord through song. I hope to be an inspiration to others through my passion for my subject and my love of the Lord as I recognize that it is my music and my faith which have allowed me to persevere through life’s most difficult obstacles.
