¡Bienvenido a la clase de español en la escuela de Santa Teresa!

    • My name is Tasia Gonzalez-Muretic. I am so very excited to be at St. Theresa School this year! I will be your Spanish teacher for grades K-8. The Spanish language and culture are very dear to my heart. I am so excited to share my love of language with your students! After week one, they seemed very eager to learn!

I am looking forward to developing a program based on our own students' individual needs, while making it beneficial for all students, at all levels of their knowledge and understanding.

Please make sure that your students check in weekly to see if there are any updates or assignments posted.

We are happy to announce that this year we will be the stars of the show at the First Annual Saint Theresa World Language fair: "Bienvenidos! Pinta el mundo con amabilidad". It will take place on February 2, 2023. This will be a school-wide performance/project, and we are so excited to show you what we are learning in Spanish this year.

  • At least twice monthly, I want to recognize students that go above and beyond to either complete work, participate in class, are kind to others, and overall, going the extra mile to be an asset to our class!

You all have been truly amazing so far!

However going through your homework, a few of you really stuck out both in class and in your work!

    All Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade & 3rd.
You guys are so fun and excited to learn! I love seeing your smiles! I love that you all say hello and use your Spanish when you see me in the halls!

A couple of solo shout outs:
-Gabe M k1: Your smile is contagious and your work is great! Thank you for being a bright light in our room.

-Renata R 4A: Your effort and smiles in class were inspiring! Renata, your eagerness is infectious! You are a great leader!

Class, I’m so excited for the next two weeks as we gather the rest of the info I need to teach you.. We are gearing up for a very successful year and I’m so excited to be on this journey with you all!!

Happy Intro week 4! One more week of evaluation and review before we begin our true journey through the Spanish language!

Please remember any work due, is due with a hard copy at the time of your scheduled class! You may submit electronic copies for your records.
