¡Bienvenidos! Me llamo Señora Haver y me alegro mucho ser la maestra de español. Welcome! My name is Señora Haver (Mrs. Haver) and I am very happy to be the Spanish teacher! I am excited to share my love of the Spanish language and its cultures with the students of Saint Theresa School!
In today’s modern world, learning another language will help students improve their ability to communicate with other people in the world and in our own country. Knowledge of Spanish is also useful for travel and careers.
Every class from kindergarten to eighth grade will study Spanish this year. Kindergarten, first, second and third (3A) grade students have Spanish class every “lunes” (Monday). Third (3B), fourth and fifth grade students have Spanish every “miércoles”(Wednesday)Middle school students, in grades six through eight, have Spanish every “martes” (Tuesday).
Students are going to have a wonderful year as they embark on the journey of learning another language! We will begin our study of Spanish with learning numbers, days of the week, months, classroom items and conversational expressions. We will also learn about a variety of customs and holiday celebrations!

If you have any questions or you would like to get involved in the Spanish program at Saint Theresa School, please contact me at schaver@sainttheresaschool.org.
    Muchas gracias,
    Señora Haver

P.S. Middle school students should check Google Classroom for announcements about weekly assignments, quizzes and tests.
