Welcome to Middle School Learning Support!

My name is Judy Karas and I am excited to begin my second year as Middle School Learning Support Teacher. I offer Instructional Support in Math and Language Arts to students who need modified intensive instruction outside of the classroom setting.  Each student has gone through the Student Support Team and a Student Learning and Accommodation Plan is made for each child enrolled in the program.

Before I began my position of Learning Support Teacher,  I was fortunate to work with Mrs. Barno as a Learning Support Aide in grades K-5 for  three years.  Before moving to Central Pennsylvania, I taught in the School District of Philadelphia for 11 years. During that time, I taught grades 1,3, and 6.  I am looking forward to using these experiences to help the students at Saint Theresa's.
