Safe2Say Something

Dear STS Families:

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has activated the Safe2Say Something anonymous tip line, a key component of Pennsylvania Act 44 of 2018.  The tip line is operated and monitored 24/7 by the Office of the Attorney General where tips are reviewed, classified, and forwarded to the appropriate school and/or school district.  Tips that are found to contain information that may indicate a "life safety" issue are also forwarded to the 911 center in the county of residence for the call.

Because St. Theresa has a middle school, it is required that we implement Safe2Say Something.  Therefore, at St. Theresa School, Safe2Say Something is replacing STOP IT!  S2SS is similar to STOP It!, but is more robust and has direct connection to the Office of the AG. As such, S2SS is available for the use by all.

While S2SS has an emphasis on "life safety", like STOP IT!, S2SS will also continue to be used for reporting other important issues for the safety and well-being of our students such as bullying, harassment, and other unwanted behaviors and acts that are otherwise not tolerated at St. Theresa School.  Therefore, the administration at St. Theresa will continue to receive all tips as well.

Students, parents, and community members can submit tips via three methods:
1) A free mobile application available for Apple and Android devices
2) By visiting www.safe2saypa.org
3) By calling 1-844-SAF2SAY (1-844-723-2729)
