Library Media Specialist: St. Theresa School is seeking a Librarian for the 2021 – 2022 school year.
Key Responsibilities: Working collaborative with classroom teachers to reinforce skills/content being taught in grades KG-5th (available for 6th-8th as needed) as well as key library content/media skills appropriate at each grade level. Management of all library resources and maintaining accurate accounts of all books via our digital system, as well as the organization of parent volunteers to assist in the library during class time. Other duties as assigned. Candidates are expected to uphold the values of the Catholic Church and St. Theresa School.
Job Type: Part-time - approximately 25 hours per week.
Some flexible arrangements of library schedule; Monday - Thursday.
$13.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience and educational level. There is also the opportunity to earn extra as a substitute on any day in the afternoon plus all day Friday when the opportunity arises.
The position is not eligible for benefits.
Education: Minimum-Associate's Degree
Experience - Preferably one year+ as a librarian or in a similar capacity and working with children.
